How a native EURC transfer works
In a CCTP transfer, the supported application burns EURC on the source chain and mints native EURC on the destination chain. This differs from a conventional lock-and-mint bridge that may issue a wrapped representation. Users should still confirm that the wallet or application they use actually supports the CCTP route.
If your EURC does not appear on Base
First check the source transaction in the relevant explorer. Confirm that the burn or transfer completed, then verify the destination address and Base network in your wallet. Make sure you are looking for the official native EURC asset rather than a similarly named token. If the app provides a transfer ID, attestation or status page, save it for support.
Common mistakes
Do not manually send EURC to a bridge contract unless the official interface instructs you to do so. Do not assume every exchange supports EURC deposits on Base.
